"DETACHED, BITE-SIZED YIPPITY-YAP"

Thanks to Adam Heine for bringing our attention to this take on the "Twittersphere."
Great stuff!!

"If we can't Twitter, we don't exist!!"
True or False?

The jury is still out on the ultimate value of Twitter, but you can be sure we'll continue to evolve on this blog. Hey, I'd better Twitter about that!

Twitter is great, but I find that some industry people are on there all the time. I mean they tweet constantly and it makes me wonder if they're reading manuscripts and calling editors. Maybe since the economy is slow and pubs aren't buying, these people have too much time on their hands. I also think some info is too much and it has turned me off to some of the agents. They seem a bit self-absorbed and spend too much time tweeting each other.

On the other hand, I've learned a lot about what's going on in the publishing world and have found new authors to read.

Twitter, like other social sites, have their good points and bad points. Who knows - tomorrow there may be a new sensation and Twitter will in fact die on the vine.
